SiteListViewName - Not working in SSIS

Dec 31, 2009 at 4:27 PM

I am trying to use the SharePoint List Source in SSIS (SQL 2008).  It recognizes the view name - if I mispell it the Refresh shows an error.  But with the correct view name, the columns available continue to be the default view columns only.

Any suggestions?

I have had the same behavior as well.  It doesnt appear that the code supports this even though the UI in SSIS shows it.

Yeah no luck on this even years later...what gives? Just to be clear, I have been running into huge nightmares trying to loop through libraries with a small set of similar columns. This should be easier...but I am finding it very difficult. I have been trying to create views so that each view matches the same between sites...however SSIS doesn't seem to limit the columns when I specify a view name. And from the sound of it, it has been this way for years.
